Even though there are many who enjoy the game for their own sake, there are others who need to feel involved at all costs – through shouting from the sidelines, wearing the colors of their team, or even betting on their progress.
If you choose to bet on the National League team, here are a few pointers about favorites for the 2010 season. Baseball becomes as unpredictable as it is, absolutely nothing to say whether or not your bet will succeed. But then … where’s the harm in trying?
The Phillies from Philadelphia, East, very much ruled favorites, with 89 wins for their names. Pitchers like Roy Halladay and Cole Hamels must be feared by all opponents, while Ryan Howard and Chase Utley are exceptional on the first and second basis respectively. Add in Jayson Werth in the right field, and they look pretty close to invincibility.
The second of our favorites comes from the St Louis Cardinals center zone. With 88 wins and 722 runs, they can certainly make life substantially difficult for the Phillies – especially thanks to one person named Pujols, who is clearly and clearly the best player on the American baseball field today. Molina, Wainwright and Carpenter are powerful Trio of excellent catchers and two outstanding pitchers. Together, it seems as if this combination will be impossible to defeat!

Third, we have Atlanta Braves, again from the East Zone. Their appearance depends largely on the Hudson’s team, and their copy with Tommy Hanson and Jurrjens. If this combination, with the Lowe crane, clicks, then Atlantas will be an excellent candidate for the Wild Card to the World Series.
From the West Zone, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the pick of the crowd today. Matt Kemp, James Loney and Andre Ethier are all young players on this team, and grow into tight-knit, adult units that are the team’s locomotive. MannyBManny, Broxton and Russell Matin are also important parts of the team, and they help grow from strength to strength.
Fifth on this small list, we have the Chicago Cubs. Despite being called his son, these full-grown Wildcats are able to leave any opposition in shreds. With Dempster as pitcher, Ryan Theriot as shortstop and Ramirez on third base, they are certainly clothes worth looking out for. Also, with 79 wins and 712 runs in 2009, they have a good past record to go to the top.
These are five of the many teams to watch during the 2010 National League baseball. Start counting immediately after the season starts, and you might end up with a tidy amount if you place the right bet!
